Netizens were moved after a touching video went viral, showing an autistic boy and his classmates spending time together at a Hari Raya open house.
The open house was hosted by the autistic boy, Danish and the video was posted by his mother, Indrie Yatie.
"Danish invited his classmates over for Hari Raya for the first time, I am happy for him," she said in the Tik Tok post.
"He poured all his efforts and sincerity into planning the Hari Raya event from scratch," she said as reported by the New Straits Times.
"He was anxious and so was I. He even printed out his invitations. So, I can imagine how hopeful he was" she added.
Prior to the event, Indrie said she mentally prepared her son to lower his expectations as there is a possibility no one will show up.
"I mentally prepared him too, should no one turn up."
She also thanked the two boys who came to their house upon Danish's invitation.
"Once again, thank you, boys!."
The Tik Tok post was showered with praise and positivity towards the two classmates who came and Danish's effort in the comment section.
