He comes from a difficult background, but never failed to lend a hand to those in need.

Recently, 20-year-old Mohamad Nazrul Kamaruddin was accepted to study at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA).

Unfortunately, just a few days earlier, he lost his wallet which contained the money he had saved to buy a new handphone before he entered university.

Aware of his plight, his close friend, Farhan Azman gathered their closest friends and together, 19 of them collected enough money to buy Farhan a laptop for him to use in university.

A TikTok video showed the group of friends giving the RM1,600 gift to Nazrul while they were all catching up over tea.

"You're always helping people, and we remember every little thing," they said as handed the laptop to Nazrul, who can be seen wiping away his tears.

Farhan said Nazrul was in tears for almost 30 minutes as he was so touched by their gesture.

"We have been friends since 2015 and seeing that he had lost his wallet and was feeling down, we decided to help him out," he said.

"We hope that the gift will bring him happiness and that it will be useful for him throughout his studies on campus," Farhan added.
