It was a heartwarming moment when 25-year-old Nurul Izzah Asri, a person with disabilities (OKU) met her idol, who is also her namesake, Nurul Izzah Anwar.

The seamstress, from Penang was said to have been named after the Prime Minister's daughter in 1988.

She got the opportunity to finally meet her and also the Prime Minister himself after she made a couple of outfits for them.
Though she is only 117cm tall, she does not allow her physical disability to stop her from pursuing her career in tailoring.
After finishing Form 5 in high school, Izzah Asri decided to pursue the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme where she learnt how to sew professionally.
"However, I did face various criticisms and some did mock me about my appearance.
"That only made me stronger and I ignored all the negative comments and focused on my goals," she said.
She recently made a pair of Baju Melayu and Baju Kurung for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his daughter.
Anwar’s daughter applauded Izzah Asri for her determination and positivity and that her workmanship is beautiful, precise and perfect as every inch of her work fits her perfectly.
She encouraged people to support her, labelling her as one of Penang’s greatest pride and gem.
