Every person is bound to have a dream or ambition that they want to achieve in their life. In order to pursue our ambitions and dreams, we must first be brave to take the first step.
Janet Zact, 19, has taken the necessary steps to make her come true. The girl of Dusun descent from Kota Marudu, Sabah decided to continue her studies and pursue her diploma in the field of aviation management at MEATECH College, Mantin, Negeri Sembilan.

"Since I was 14 years old, I have been interested in this field and aspired to become a flight attendant at one of the local airlines.
"Starting from there I started searching and finding out about this field, especially about the work path.
"After furthering my studies in this field, I am so excited to explore it that I have a new plan which is to start a career from the bottom to the top in this field," she said as quoted from Kosmo.
Janet hopes that after graduation she can continue to work and help her family. She hopes that the field will become a source of income in the future to allow her to return to her family.
"If I am allowed to successfully build a career in this field in the future, I will be able to help my family and cover the expenses of my other siblings who are still in school.
In the meantime, talking about the challenges she faced when choosing to continue her studies in the field, Janet explained that the main challenge she faced was financial.
Since she does not come from a wealthy family, continuing her education far from her hometown poses as a challenge for her. Janet needs to think about how to organise her finances in the best possible way.
"Before continuing my education, I also took time to make a decision because it was not easy for me considering the cost of learning in terms of fees and so on.
"However, I am grateful. Although my father is only a farmer and my mother is a housewife, they give me support and encouragement to pursue my dreams," she explained.
With hard work and perseverance, we reckon her dream will come true in the nearest future possible.
