For passengers who have a phobia of turbulence, smooth handling of the aircraft is always a blessing.

Recently a passenger who enjoyed a smooth flight on Malaysia Airlines to Kuching from Kuala Lumpur felt a thank you note was necessary to show his or her appreciation.

The passenger penned a gratitude note on an air sickness bag, thanking the captain for flying smoothly despite the cloudy weather.

"I have a terrible phobia of turbulence and was worried that late evening flight would be bumpy. Thank you, guys, for the amazing experience. I truly appreciate it. Hope you guys have a great weekend," the passenger wrote.

Captain Paul Lau of MH2522 shared the note on Facebook where he thanked the passenger for his or her appreciation, on behalf of the flight crew.

"Your kind words have brightened our day and encouraged us to provide you and our passengers the best we could," Lau said.

"I also wish to apologise that the seatbelt signs were turned on most of the time due to adverse weather. Looking forward to seeing you onboard again," Lau added.
