Navy men praised for saving puppy

Several members of the Royal Malaysian Navy have earned praises from the public for their selfless act of saving a puppy from drowning.

A 144-second video which was recently uploaded on social media shows two Navy personnel jumping into the sea to rescue the puppy, which was seen swimming aimlessly.

Several other personnel were assisting from the dock as the duo tried to catch the puppy and bring it to safety.

After several attempts, the puppy was captured and placed in a bucket before being pulled to deck.

The puppy, which was unhurt, was heard whinning after it was brought to safety.

The video has since been viewed over 1.5 million times and has drawn praises from Malaysians of all walks of life.
