It is not often we see a woman capable of handling the size and might of a trailer, but for 26-year-old Siti Hajar Mat Kasa, it is all in a day's work.

The mother-of-two boys from Kampung Cahaya Baru said she started working as a trailer driver delivering goods to fulfil her dream to buy a house.

Siti, who obtained her Class E driving license in February, said she was selling desserts before becoming a trailer driver.

"Besides from passion and the eagerness to challenge myself, I started this career because I want to buy a house.

"I always saw women sharing videos of them driving trailer on TikTok before I become one. At that time, I told myself, if they can do it, I also can make it," she said.

Siti said she has been delivering goods, including foods and logs, around the peninsula except Terengganu for the past six months.

"My parents had also tried to stop me from driving trailer, asking me to get another job, but now they are happy for me. This is my effort to sustain myself.

"It was hard at first, but after grasping the driving skills, there's no more problem for me."
