Malaysian Spideys make it into Book of Records

Spidey here, there and everywhere!

That was the situation at the AEON Mall in Bukit Tinggi, Klang recently as Malaysia made history by making it into the Guinness World Records with the “Largest Gathering in Spider-Man Costume” the world has ever seen.

A total 685 "Spider-Men" of various ages and genders gathered in full suits for the event held in conjunction with the premiere of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Official Guinness World Record Referee, Kazuyoshi confirmed the record at 4.40pm the same day.

During the event, all participants present were asked to remain in the event space provided for 5 minutes, thus breaking the previous record of a total of 601 participants in an event organised in India in December 2021.
