Malaysian Scores Highest Marks in the World for ACCA Exam

A Malaysian student recently did the country proud by scoring the highest marks in his third paper in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams.

Nicholas Hoe Zi Zai emerged as the top scorer in the world at the “Advanced Financial Management” paper with a score of 86.

According to reports, Nicholas said he felt surprised as his results were beyond his expectations.

The 24-year-old from Johor Bahru acknowledged that the journey was not easy, especially since he is juggling four part-time jobs while studying in Australia.

"I would always bring my study notes with me so I can revise while travelling to work and during my lunch breaks," he said.

Nicholas has also passed the Standard Business Reporting (SBR) and Strategic Business Leader (SBL) papers in 2022. He only has one more paper to go before being recognised as an ACCA Affiliate.
