Shuttlers Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik secured victory in the men's doubles category at the Denmark Open badminton championship held in Odense, Denmark. This is a historical win for the duo as the pair finally won a World Tour title.

They defeated the Indonesian pair Shohibul Fikri and Bagas Maulana with a score of 21-13, 21-17. This win earned them a prize of US$62,900 (RM300,100) and 11,000 BWF points, propelling them to the top spot in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) ranking.
Ranked as the world No 4 pair, the Malaysians took only 33 minutes to defeat the 24th-ranked Shohibul-Bagas. This victory marked their fourth consecutive win against the unseeded Indonesian duo.
In the first set, Aaron-Soh displayed confidence, leading 11-7 within seven minutes and eventually winning the game 21-13 in 13 minutes.
Despite a comeback attempt by the Indonesians in the second game, the superior Malaysians wrapped up the match in just 20 minutes.
Notably, Aaron-Soh had previously made history by becoming the first Malaysians to be crowned World Champions in Tokyo the previous year.
