Malaysia To Host the BWF Super 100 World Tour for 2023 and 2024

Malaysia is among the three new countries listed as hosts for the Badminton World Federation (BWF) Super 100 World Tour events for 2023 and 2024.
BWF in its statement today informed that the tournament known as Malaysia Super 100 will be held on October 31 to November 5 next year and October15 to 20 Oct 2024.
"The Super 100 circuit welcomes new hosts from Chinese Taipei, Malaysia and the UAE (United Arab Emirates). Host members can hold up to six tournaments each year including a maximum of two Super 100 tournaments.
"Indonesia and India will hold two Super 100 tournaments in 2023 and 2024 respectively. The other Super 100 tournaments will take place in China and Vietnam,” states the report.
The ranking points obtained at the Super 100 tournament will determine qualification for the BWF World Tour Finals at the end of the year in addition to qualification for the Paris Olympics.
The qualification period for the Paris Olympics will start from May 1, 2023, to April 28, 2024.
The listing of the Malaysia Super 100 event means that Malaysia now has three BWF World Tour tournaments, including the Malaysian Open and the Malaysian Masters.
