Media personnel waiting outside Istana Negara received a pleasant surprise when Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah bought over 150 packs of food for them.
Following the recent general election, Malaysia is currently in a hung parliament state where neither of the parties have enough seats to form a government.

The media had been waiting outside Gate 2 since morning as political coalition and party leaders were expected to submit the names and numbers to the King.
The announcement was earlier slated for 2pm today (Monday) but has since been postponed to 2pm tomorrow (Tuesday).
The King also urged all Malaysians to stay calm and don’t panic as they will navigate Malaysia through this and form a new government.
