Hyza, a bank employee was moved by the message and was determined to return it to its true owner. She took to social media in the hopes of finding the owner.

Anne Malar Yesudass. expressed her gratitude to Hyza via a Facebook post – she even shared the personal significance behind the message written on the RM10 note.
“This was given to me by my dad on 21st May 2010… I was 17 years old at that time… He gave me the RM 10 when he sent me off at school in the morning at 7.10 am. And unfortunately, that was the last day and last time I met him in my life… He met with an accident on that day and returned to our Lord in that accident. I kept this cash with me in my purse since that day.”
Sadly, she lost her purse as it was stolen at a camp she attended in Malacca. Since then, she has been yearning to regain possession of the last bank note left behind by her father for almost a year!
“I was terribly sad that this valuable thing of my life was stolen together. I always remember about this the past one year. There was always an ache in my heart whenever I think of it,” she said.
Thanks to the power of social media, Anne’s prayers were finally answered when she found the priceless RM10 via Hyza’s shared post!
