Family presents “Anna” at mamak shop with birthday cake before he returns to India

A foreign employee at a mamak shop received a pleasant surprise when a family, which are regulars at the shop presented him with a belated birthday cake.

In a recent TikTok video, the family is seen surprising Sankar with the cake, while singing Happy Birthday.

Sankar, who will be returning to India soon was absolutely delighted and even hugged the father of the family.

It was Sankar's 29th birthday.

According to the family, they would visit the shop three to four times weekly and Sankar always served them well.

The video has since won the hearts of many netizens who were touched by the family's kind and caring gesture.
