The mega concert of legendary singer and composer from India, AR Rahman will be featuring Malaysia’s very own singing queen Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza as guest singer.
AR Rahman will be returning to Malaysia after high demand with the AR Rahman - Secret of Success - Live in Malaysia 2023 Concert at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, this Saturday.
Executive Producer of DMY Creation Sdn Bhd, Mohd Maideen Abdullah said that the concert will try highlighting various additional elements to give satisfaction to the audience. Thus, he said, with the involvement of famous singers like Siti, the vibes of the concert will be more holistic and unique.
"We discussed with AR Rahman to bring Siti as a guest singer. He agreed with this proposal. AR Rahman also actually has a good relationship with Siti, so it made it easier to invite her. They will share the stage later.
"At the same time, when there is a collaboration between Malaysian and foreign singers, it will indirectly introduce the music industry on the world stage," he stated.
Commenting on Siti's invitation, Maideen said that everything went smoothly when Malaysia's number one singer also expressed her support for the concert.
"We didn't face any difficulty in inviting Siti. This is because she also supported this AR Rahman concert. Siti also knows the current needs of the local music industry, so she always wants to try new things. He will be singing some popular songs, but I can't tell you more.
"This is an element of surprise that will be featured in the concert later. However, I believe the audience will be entertained and will not be disappointed in this concert," he said.
Meanwhile, Maideen is grateful that ticket sales continue to show positive development even though there are only three days left before the concert.
"So far, the tickets that have been sold have almost reached 50,000 and that is a positive development. I am grateful to all parties who helped make this concert a success," he said.
