Coldplay to hold first concert in Malaysia this November

Fans of the popular British Grammy-winning band, Coldplay are in for a treat.

Concert organisers, Live Nation Malaysia recently announced that the supergroup has confirmed its performance at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, on November 22.

They will per in Tokyo, Jakarta and Perth before their KL show, which is part of its ‘Music of the Spheres’ tour.

In a social media post, the band announced the tour dates and other locations.

There is a possibility of a second date to be announced as tickets are expected to be sold out within hours for the 85,000-capacity stadium.

General ticket sales will be available on May 17 from 10 onwards on Live Nation.

Malaysian Coldplay fans will finally be able to rock out to hits like The Scientist, Fix You and Viva La Vida for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Formed in London in 1997, the band comprises an original lineup of lead vocalist Martin, drummer Will Champion, guitarist Jonny Buckland and bassist Guy Berryman.

They have sold over 100 million albums worldwide and are regarded as among the few consistent musical artists who continuously churn out hit records and albums.
