Cleaner receives Rolex watch for working with same company for 10 years

A hardworking and dedicated cleaner in Singapore recently received a pleasant surprise for being loyal to a company for 10 years. 

"Aunty" Tan Ai Tee was recently presented with a Rolex watch worth about RM34,500 during the company's annual dinner. 

Ai Tee has been working since she was 16 years old so her time in her current workplace, Paradise Group Holdings is not her first job. 

She had also previously worked as a chicken rice vendor and also in the sales industry. 

She joined a restaurant under Paradise Group in 2013 as a kitchen staff until its closure in 2016, before she started working as a clear under the same company until today. 

“I used to think about leaving to care for my family after my husband had stopped working but I just couldn’t leave this place," she said. 

For Ai Tee, she said, her workplace is just like home and everyone is like family.
