Cantopop King Aaron Kwok Receives Outstanding Award from Malaysian International Film Festival

Hong Kong's renowned actor and singer, Aaron Kwok has received the Outstanding Film Achievement Award in conjunction with the 6th Malaysian International Film Festival (MIFFest). The festival will take place at Lalaport, Bukit Bintang City Centre, between 23 to 29 July.

Sharing his excitement after receiving the recognition, Aaron described the award as “fuelling him to continue to work”.
"I will continue what I am doing now because the field of acting has become my flesh and blood. I am proud of what I am doing. Looking back at what has been done over the past 20 years, it turns out that choosing a career as an actor was the right decision.”
"I am grateful for the recognition given to me," he said at the Aaron Kwok Amazing Kode World Tour Live In Malaysia 2023 press conference.
The Outstanding Film Achievement Award was presented by the President and Founder of MIFFest, Joanne Goh.
The recognition was given to Aaron for his contribution and positive impact on society over two decades in the film industry. Aaron has been a household name in the industry, making him one of the kings of Cantopop.
Meanwhile, commenting on the preparations ahead of the concert, the singer stated that he made exercise a daily routine.
Aaron who will be celebrating his 58th birthday next October said, as an artist who is getting older, health care is very important.
"I exercise every day and my focus is cardio exercise, apart from running which is a mandatory routine. As a singer and actor, exercise is important to maintain stamina, in addition to maintaining health. This is because this career requires me to be fit all the time," said the Cold War 2 movie actor.
