Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia, MySPR Semak and the World Cup 2022 ranked at the top of the most popular searches by Malaysians through the Google search engine.
Google Malaysia in a statement informed that, following the 15th General Election (GE15) in November, many wanted to know the current political developments in the country and keywords 'MySPR Semak', 'GE15 Results', and 'MyUndi' are among the top 10 searches.
Meanwhile, several local and international personalities from various fields are also in the spotlight in the search engine.
For local personalities, most of them are politicians including the Tenth Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim coming in at first place. Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi are each in the list of 10 popular searches in the local personality category.
As for the international personality category, following the domestic violence case of Hollywood actor Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard, the two dominated the top two rankings of Google Malaysia's popular search.
The list also features British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and international pop singer Adam Levine.
In addition, the passing of the late British monarch Queen Elizabeth was the highest search for the "In Memory" category.
Also in the focus of Malaysians, the country's actress and singer, the late Adibah Noor ranked second in the list.
Other departures on the list include Thai actress TangMo, local drama actress Syazlin Zainal, former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, are also on the list.
