A total of 1,013 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidates received stationery donations from the Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development, Tan Sri Noh Omar.
The donation was handed over to the school principals who represented their respective students at the Kuala Selangor District Education Office (PPD).
According to Noh, who is also the Member of Parliament for Tanjong Karang, the contribution is expected to inspire SPM candidates who face the challenge of studying online following the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Education is very important to ensure one’s future as well as change family life in the future.
“This contribution is expected to give motivation and moral support to the children to succeed in SPM,” he said when officiating the program virtually here.
The donation involved eight secondary schools in the Tanjong Karang Parliamentary constituency.
