For years, Ganesh Murthi struggled to make ends meet for his family. From working at Mcdonalds for seven years to delivery services on a freelance basis as well as a Grab Food rider, the 26-year-old worked hard in the pursuit of a better life.
Yet, there was something more to Ganesh beyond his hardships – his honesty and polite demeanour. These were the virtues that caught the attention of Aiman Manan, 30, the chief executive of healthcare and supplements company Natura, when Ganesh delivered his food order.

In his Facebook post, which has since gone viral, Aiman details Ganesh’s journey in overcoming adversity. “Ganesh had a rough upbringing. He managed to be in school up to Form 3. So Mcdonalds was where he spent 7 years of his life. Then he did couple more other things and finally landed in Grab.”
Despite the tough circumstances, Ganesh always exhibited a sense of professionalism in his work which impressed Aiman who subsequently offered Ganesh a job with a fixed pay to manage the company’s inventory and orders and also deliver Natura’s products via Ganesh’s own deliver service. Aiman ended his post with Ganesh’s personal number in the case of anyone wanting to get in touch with him.
What happened next surprised them both!
A good samaritan by the name of Benny James reached out to Ganesh and Aiman for a meetup.

“We had early brunch, got to know each other when Benny finally brought us down to the car park”, Aiman stated in his post on Facebook.
The generous man gifted Ganesh a car after being moved by his inspiring story with the hope that his act of kindness would help Ganesh to improve his delivery business and grow further in life.
This act of generosity and kindness has not only left Ganesh and Aiman speechless and in awe but also many Netizens.
