On the issue of postponing the football match for 30 minutes due to rain yesterday, PEJUANG Muda Malaysia expressed their regret over the management of the football field stadium in the midst of the 2023 Asian Qualifiers.
The proposed postponement of the football match for 30 minutes was due to the problematic drainage system within the football field at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.
The field is under the management of Stadium Malaysia Corporation and under the Ministry of Youth and Sport’s supervision.
The action taken by the Stadium staff last night to remove the water reservoir on the football field was not appropriate because it could indirectly damage the quality of the field.
PEJUANG Muda Malaysia urged the Ministry of Youth and Sports to be more concerned with the preparation and management of the Stadium’s football field. It also urged the Ministry, and other parties involved, to take immediate action in conducting repair efforts to improve the quality of the field and facilitate efficient stadium management in the future.
