What comes to mind when you think of a nine year old? Toys? Sweets? Cartoons? Sounds about right. In a world where achievements are highly looked upon, we don’t often associate young kids with it, but Ilakeyan Thiagarajan broke this social norm.
At the tender age of nine, Ilakeyan has achieved quite a number of amazing accomplishments. In fact, he has been busy representing the country at innovation competitions internationally. A recent mention would be his participation in the International Invention and Innovation Competition, INTARG 2019 held in Poland.
Ilakeyan’s participation in the invention competition led him to take home not one, but four awards! (Woah, impressive!)
Here is the list of awards he won.
- GOLD Award from the International Invention and Innovation Competition INTARG.
- GOLD Award from the Moroccan delegation of Inventor and EMSI Group.
- LEADING INNOVATION Award from Macao.
- WIIPA Grand Award from Taiwan on his innovation IAQ Modulator.
