Our newly appointed Health Minister has won praises from netizens for his efforts recently – paying a surprise visit to the Kajang Hospital to check on its operations.
Wearing normal clothes and without the ministerial entourage, Khairy Jamaluddin was only accompanied by one officer at the hospital.
There was no protocol and he was seen greeting staff and observing the situation at the hospital.

His visit was over the weekend and the hospital management were caught unaware.
“This is what we call a surprise visit. No entourage and big ceremony,” said a netizen.
Netizens said more visits like this would produce genuine results and would ensure hospitals and other government agencies are always on their toes.
