Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and the implementation of the movement control order (MCO), more have become dependent on delivery riders for their daily meals and also, necessities.
While it is common to leave a small tip for the riders, none would have expected a whopping RM1,000 tip!
Well, this is exactly the pleasant surprise Food Panda rider, Muhammad Faris Faizul received after he delivered food to a woman recently.
According to his Facebook post, he was so shocked, he jumped off his motorcycle.
“I was shocked when I opened the envelope,” he said.
When he arrived at the customer’s house, he was told to leave her meal outside on a table and to take an envelope she had left for him.
The rider followed her instructions and was later baffled by the large tip she left for him.
He even messaged her asking if it was real or a mistake.
In reply, the woman said yes, that the RM1,000 tip was indeed for him which he could share with his friends.
“Just ask your friends to pray for me so I can conceive a child quickly,” replied the woman in her text message.
Muhammad Faris ended his post saying he would surely ask all his friends to pray for her that she be blessed with a baby soon.
