How many of you out there have got last minute notifications on MySejahtera about your Covid-19 vaccination?
Well, most of us would rush to get it as we know how important the vaccination is, including this woman who was in the midst of getting hair dyed!
Recently, Malaysian-Thai local actress, Thain Siew Kim shared the story about her mother who got vaccinated with her hair full of red dye!
She shared how her Thai mother hurried to the vaccination centre (PPV) after she was informed that it was her turn to get the jab.
She was apparently dyeing her hair at home at the time.
Thian, who was at the PPV, said she was upset when she saw her mother at the centre with her hair full of dye.
“What are you doing? Don’t come if you are dyeing your hair! Why don’t you wash your hair?,” she asked.
“I told your sister I was dyeing my hair, but she said I can still get my vaccine! Injecting the vaccine into my arm has nothing to do with my head! She said ok and asked me to dressed up well, so here I am!”
“I was very angry at my sister and my mum, but I still bit the bullet and brought my mum in, I knew she would become a Thailand tourist attraction afterwards,” Thian said.
The PPV staff actually thought someone had beaten Thian’s mum as the red dye looked like blood and began looking for an ambulance.
Thian quickly explained the real story and also explained that she was Thai and that she had to accompany her.
She said she had to explain the situation to every PPV staff and some even thought her mum was a maid and she was the employer who abused her!
Soon, Thian said her mother had become an attraction there and all the PPV staff began greeting her “Sawadeeka, aunty”, while taking photographs with her.
“A Thai who would rush to get her vaccine at the very last minute, her courage is worth learning, Malaysia should appoint her as the vaccine ambassador,” said Thian jokingly.
