Recently, a Facebook post went viral of a father in Johor Bahru who had the painful task to having to witness his three-year-old son going in and out hospital.

This was due to an illness the toddler had since birth.
For the sake of certain treatment, his son had to shave off all his hair – and so the dad decided to do the same to keep his son company.
In an interview with the Chinese media, Tan Boon Kuang said his son was born with inflamed intestinal walls and had been facing stomach issues since he was a year old.
However, his son could not undergo surgery due to his age.

On August 31, his son had to go bald and so did his dad.
In a Facebook post, he wrote, “I shaved off my hair with my son today. Although it doesn’t look good, it’s okay. Daddy is not afraid of being laughed at, as long as you are healthy. I have not cut my hair like this in the last 22 years. But I will shave my hair off with you”.
He said he was proud of his son for being able to endure all he was going through and prayed for his son’s health and safety.
Following the post, many have wished the toddler a speedy recovery and also praised the father for his show of support.
