Children often discover their talents as they reach their pre-teen to teenage years, the same can be said about this 11-year-old Malaysian girl. Her talent in singing is so outstanding that it received a standing ovation this week at a televised singing contest in China.
Hailing from Taiping, Perak, Adinda is dubbed as the next Shila Amzah, who won the 2012 Chinese reality singing talent show Asian Wave.
Not only does Adinda have a strong talent for singing, she also has been praised for her excellent command of Mandarin.
Adinda took part in the fourth season of the kids reality TV programme Let’s Sing Kids, which was aired on July 2. The show is produced by the Hunan Broadcasting System, based in China.
It was not long before a Youtube video clip of Adinda’s performance was circulated and went viral. She sang ‘Next Stop in the Future’ by Taiwanese singer Lin Yu-Chun and stunned viewers with her amazing range, garnering a standing ovation mid-way through.
Adinda’s initial performance was followed by Let It Go from Disney’s animated movie Frozen. She sang the song as a duet together with Taiwan-based Malaysian singer Gary Chaw, who is also a judge on the show.
We wish Adinda a successful journey ahead on the show.
